God is your Refuge

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been ministering on “How God has protected you.” It is imperative that in these crazy times and everything going on in the world today, you know God is in control. This does not mean you need to join or agree with what is currently going on in this world. We as believers are above all of this, therefore, do not conform to what is happening. Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ​

As you speak God’s Word, you will see the manifestation of The Holy Spirit who dwells in you. The Holy Spirit brings “Peace”, He is “Your Comforter”, and He “Will not leave you as an orphan”. This is so much better than what the world is offering. We are not of this world, but instead we have been conformed and transformed by thinking differently and acting differently. Wherever the sole of your foot touches, I will be with you just like I was with Moses (Joshua 1:3) – Let this scripture come alive in you. Wherever you go, God is with you, and if God is with you, who can be against you!

As I have been ministering in the mornings on Facebook, in today’s time, you need to know where to go in God’s Word. God has me ministering out of the book of Psalms: Chapter 91:1-16, Psalm 32:7, Psalm 36:7, Psalm 27:5, Psalm 17:8, Psalm 31:20, and Psalm 61:3-4. I would encourage you to read these verses, get them in your spirit and when you do, you will see the world cannot come against you. As we look at Psalm 91:1-16, I am believing that the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and the Fire of The Holy Spirit will be upon you. From this day forward you will not be the same, you will be walking and leaping and praising His Name!

The Security of the Godly Psalm 91:1-16

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.

Take each verse and apply it to your life and when you do, you will see all is well. Verse One says that I dwell in the secret place.

When you have God’s Word in you, it brings out faith in you. Let these scriptures sink into your spirit and meditate on them; become these scriptures. Many times, we let the intellect get in the way of faith. Faith is what brings wisdom – wisdom does not bring faith. God is my refuge place; HE hides me in the shadow of HIS wings. For this to apply in your life, it requires your faith, and it is your faith that will bring you to this place. We are believing with you right now for your faith to ignite in your life and we claim it is yours now in the name of Jesus. 1st Corinthians 13:13 And Now abideth faith… This means “yes” right now, this is yours to claim and it takes faith to claim it now! The Bible says in Hebrews 11: 6 (KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE GOD IS MY REFUGE PLACE AND HIDES ME IN THE SHADOW OF HIS WINGS!

As we see the news media, it is all designed to put fear in you. Now the news media is announcing “Spikes” in the Coronavirus but the God we serve is bigger than any Virus across this land. You may ask: “how is this possible Pastor?” By God’s Word! Romans 8:2-4 (KJV) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

As we remain focused on God’s mandate to the Church to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) we must take a stand for the Word of God. As Believers, we must be a part of what God is doing and by sowing your best seed TODAY you can help take this Gospel to as many people as possible. Luke 10:2 says, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” When you PARTNER with God through a ministry like CYVi, it becomes the vehicle that the Gospel rides on to reach more souls. Remember that as we go and reach others, what you sow will go into your heavenly account!
